Event Description
Presentation 6-7pm, Networking Reception 7-8pm (refreshments provided) The UF Outreach Engineering Management (OEM) Program is an Engineering Management master's degree program that is offered in Orlando for full-time working professionals. Students meet only one weekend per month for 20 months, taking five engineering and five business courses. The next program begins in August and has an upcoming application deadline of February 26, 2019 (secondary deadline is 5/14/19). The program awards an MS degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering (Engineering Management track). UF faculty travel from campus in Gainesville to teach. For many students, OEM is a solution to the problem of whether to get a technical master's degree or an MBA. Students who want to get both degrees can do so by taking advantage of a concurrent degree option which requires only 12 additional months of study (32 months total). If you would like to learn more about OEM, we invite you to join us at the presentation. For more details or to be added to the OEM email distribution list, contact us. The OEM web site (www.ise.ufl.edu/oem) includes course descriptions, information about fees, and complete application materials and instructions. Why attend this session? To learn how the program works, including admissions requirements, the curriculum, costs, student profile information, and program benefits. To meet admissions officers and to get your questions answered about your individual background and eligibility. To speak with graduates and current students, and find out more about what to expect if you enroll. To connect with potential classmates from the Orlando area who will be enrolling in this year’s program.
